Force Majeure & Regional Hazards

  • Bolivian Specifics: Bolivian Golf Tours is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to events beyond our control. This explicitly includes social conflicts, labor strikes, and road blockades (bloqueos), which are common in Bolivia and may restrict access to golf courses or transportation.
  • Altitude & Health: Given that tours often occur at high altitudes (e.g., La Paz at 3,600m+), travellers are responsible for their own acclimatisation and health although we will, of course, advise and plan your trip to best accommodate acclimatisation and prevent altitude sickness. We are not liable for trip interruptions caused by altitude sickness (soroche) or pre-existing cardiovascular/respiratory conditions.
  • Weather Conditions: Inclement weather (frost, heavy rain, or lightning) may result in course closures or play delays. Refunds are not provided for weather-related cancellations, though we will assist in rescheduling tee times where possible.
  • Mitigation & Credits: In the event of a Force Majeure, our priority is your safety. While cash refunds may not be available for these unforeseen events, we will do our upmost to find alternative solutions.
